- Improve balance while strengthening the core
- For advanced uses, use for push ups, squats or try standing on one foot
- By Trademark Innovations
We recently tried the Balance Trainer by Trademark Innovations with our own dog and found it an easy wobble board to introduce to a dog who is a little timid or just needs a little extra nudge to try new things.
The 20″x14″ wooden board provides ample space for all but the largest of dogs to stand upon and comes with a textured surface which provides added grip for our furry friends, preventing them from slipping.
While using this balance board, we’ve noticed that it not only helped in improving our dogs’ balance overall, but slowly over time it also played a significant role in strengthening her core muscles (as evidenced through more intense tug of war games!). This is great for overall physical health and conditioning.
A few downsides did catch our attention however. The top layer of the board, while offering traction isn’t built to last forever when it encounters claws over human feet. Light dogs won’t really scratch up the surface all that much. Secondarily, reading through reviews of other owners a few have reported receiving their boards with minor cosmetic damage – this might be a disappointment, but won’t affect the product’s overall functionality.
So the Trademark Innovations 20″ Wood Wobble Balance Board is a solid choice for pet owners seeking to enhance their dog’s balance, confidence, and strength. Ideal for rehabilitation where your pooch can’t yet walk long distances unsupported.
- We Like
- The generous size of the top board
- The sturdy build quality
- The skateboardesque grippy surface layer
- We Don’t Like
- Thin top layer might be prone to damage after being exposed to long term use
JFIT 26” Inflatable Balance Disc – Also Great
- IMPROVES STABILITY: The JFIT Balance Disc helps you improve your balance, coordination, posture, flexibility, and core strength no matter where you are
- CORE STRENGTH: The textured pattern improves grip and comfort during exercises, core strength training, yoga, or any muscle toning workout program
- ANTI-BURST TECHNOLOGY: Rated to withstand up to 450 pounds, our balance trainer is molded with high-tensile materials, making it safe for kids and adults as a fit balance stand or wobble cushion chair
- LARGE SEATING AREA: At 26 inches wide, our fit discs are ideal for seated exercises, squats, ankle drills, even for dog and pet training
- EASY TO INFLATE: Unlike cheap quality substitutes, the JFIT balance disc is easily inflatable with the included inflation straw, allowing you to adjust the air for optimal results for your workout
Before testing the Balance trainer we had fun trying out the JFIT Inflatable Balance Disc and found it to be a useful tool for enhancing our dog’s stability, balance, and core strength.
The JFIT Balance Disc is 26 inches wide, (which is far greater than any wooden board available on the market) with a textured pattern for improved grip on both sides of the disc. The anti-burst technology (essentially just extremely thick rubber) can withstand up to 450lbs, and more importantly rugged paws and claws.
Inflating the balance disc was a breeze, thanks to the included inflation straw. Although after several weeks our disc remained inflated enough to use, air was most definitely escaping as the disc was ever so slightly softer – not a big deal, it just meant topping up the air every now and again.
- We Like
- By some way the largest surface of all the wobble boards tested
- Easy to wash down if you want to share the use of the board between yourself and your dog
- Large enough to use as a human seat indoor or outdoors
- We Don’t Like
- Requires inflating and then topping up every once in a while

Like the Balance Trainer it comes with a textured surface that provides added safety for our furry friends, preventing them from slipping.

Putting aside the bargain price for one moment, one feature that impressed us about the BalanceFrom Non-Slip Wobble Board was the solid wood top which is sturdy enough to support up to 500 pounds, ensuring durability and safety during our training sessions.
This despite the light weight of the balance board, making it easy for us to incorporate it into our home gym setups, rehabilitation, and injury recovery programs.
However, we noticed that the wobble board’s size might not be suitable for people with larger feet. Additionally, some customers reported receiving a used product, which could be a concern for potential buyers. Lastly, it seems there were no color options available at the time we tested it, limiting personalization choices for those who prefer colorful fitness equipment.
Overall, the BalanceFrom Non-Slip Wooden Wobble Balance Board offers great features for improving balance, coordination, and strength, making it a worthy addition to any fitness routine.
Wobble Rocker by Trademark Innovations
- Wood octagonal balance board measures 15.5″ across and has a textured surface for added safety
- Use caution when first starting and hold onto a table or another person
- Improve balance while strengthening the core
- For advanced uses, use for push ups, squats or try standing on one foot
- By Trademark Innovations
The portability of the Octagonal wobble rocker makes it a versatile option, allowing users to take it to and from the garden or even on vacation. The wood construction is sturdy, ensuring longevity and support for various exercises and the textured surface provides additional grip as expected.
The shape of this balance board means the largest area available is 15.5″ only, which makes it more suitable for the dog agility training of smaller dogs as opposed to larger hounds.
One challenge encountered when using this balance board will be to find the right surface to use it on. The base works best on a carpeted floor or a yoga mat, grass would work just as well.
So just keep that in mind before purchasing if you live somewhere like a hard floored apartment.
Buying guide for dog wobble boards
When looking for the best wobble board for our dogs, there are several features to consider to ensure we’re choosing the right product for our furry friends. We want to ensure it’s both fun and safe for our dogs while also helping them develop better balance and coordination. Here are some key aspects to keep in mind when making a decision.
Size and weight capacity
First and foremost, we need to consider the size and weight capacity of the wobble board. Size is the most crucial characteristic as when training a dog who is in rehabilitation as opposed to simply improving agility the real estate needs to match a natural relaxed foot placement. This you can roughly measure before buying.
Check the manufacturer’s recommendations and ensure the board’s size can accommodate our dog comfortably while standing. If it’s designed as a human board the chances are this won’t be an issue but you might be surprised where products have been designed for animal only use!
Material and durability
The material of the wobble board is crucial for safety and durability. Opt for a board made of high-quality materials that can withstand our dog’s rough claws. Look for boards with non-slip surfaces to prevent slipping and provide additional stability.
Angle and adjustability
A good wobble board might also have an adjustable angle of incline. This feature allows us to gradually increase the difficulty of the exercise as our dog becomes more confident with their balance. As they improve, we can challenge them by increasing the incline angle to keep them engaged and progressing.
Ease of cleaning
We know that sometimes our dogs can get messy, and keeping their wobble board clean is essential for hygiene purposes. Look for a board with an easy-to-clean surface, like a removable cover or a wipeable material.
